Dollars For Doers Program Description The rewards of volunteerism are in the doing, but organizations that receive the time and skills of Land O'Lakes volunteers are thrilled to find that the giving doesn't stop there. Employees and retirees tally their hours spent in service, and the Foundation gives cash donations based on volunteer hours -- up to $250 per employee or retiree annually. Land O'Lakes Foundation Dollars for Doers Program rewards and recognizes local community volunteerism. Through Dollars for Doers, the organization benefits twice: once from the volunteer's contribution of time and again from a Land O'Lakes Foundation financial contribution. Dollars for Doers grants are awarded for a wide variety of volunteer services including, but not limited to: Delivering meals to senior citizens Leading a scout troop Teaching reading in a literacy program Volunteer fire fighting
